Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms of service form the agreement between you and SiVideoAPI for using sivideoapi.com, its dashboard and its video API (together, the “Service”). SiVideoAPI is an SI video API; SI is our name for super intelligence, formerly called AI, and here it turns text prompts and images into video clips through third-party models. Creating an account, generating an API key or sending a request counts as accepting these terms of service. When you agree on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” then means that company.
1. Accounts
Only adults aged 18 or older may hold an account. Sign-in uses either Google or a single-use link sent to your inbox, and whoever controls that inbox or Google login also controls your keys and credits, so protect both. Tell us at support@sivideoapi.com if you suspect someone else got in.
2. API keys
- Keys are created in the dashboard. An account can hold up to 10 active keys.
- The full key is shown once. We store only a hash, so we cannot display or recover it later.
- Keep keys secret. Never put them in browser code, mobile or desktop apps you distribute, public repositories or logs; call the API from your own server.
- You are responsible for every request made with your keys and every credit they spend, including requests triggered by your end users and by anyone who obtained a key you exposed.
- Revoke a key you suspect is exposed right away; revocation takes effect immediately. We may also disable a key we believe is leaked or abused.
3. Credits, pricing and payment
- Videos are priced per second of output, by model, resolution and audio.
GET /v1/modelslists current rates, and each video object reports its exact cost incost_credits. - Credits are held when a request is accepted. If your balance is too low, the request fails with HTTP 402 and nothing is charged.
- Credits are sold in one-time packs, paid through Stripe via our payment gateway, in US dollars; taxes may be added at checkout. Packs never auto-renew.
- Purchased credits stay valid for as long as the account stays open. Credits are not money: you cannot cash them out, sell them or move them to another account, apart from the cases in our Refund Policy.
- Rates follow what model providers charge us and may change, but never for a request that was already accepted.
4. Failed renders
When a render fails, is declined by a provider’s safety filter, never starts within five minutes or is still running after 45 minutes, its credits return to your balance automatically. The Refund Policy has the details.
5. Free credits and gifts
New accounts that sign in with Google receive 80 free credits, and the gift center offers small extras such as a daily check-in, a first-video gift, a rating gift and invite rewards. Each person may collect them once; credits farmed through extra accounts or fake invites may be removed. Promotions can change or end at any time.
6. Rate limits and capacity
Each account may create up to 20 videos per minute, upload up to 20 images per minute, and keep at most 10 renders in progress at once. Going over returns HTTP 429, so retry with backoff. We may adjust limits, and splitting traffic across accounts to avoid them is not allowed.
7. Your application and its users
You may build products on the API and give generated videos to your customers. Under these terms of service you are responsible for your application, for what your end users submit through it, and for holding them to rules at least as strict as section 8. You need the rights to send any content through the API, and your privacy notice must tell your users that a third-party video service processes it. For that content you are the controller, and we process it on your instructions only to provide the Service.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service for content that:
- is pornographic or sexualizes a person, and nothing at all involving minors;
- uses a recognizable real person’s likeness without permission, or fakes what someone said or did in order to deceive;
- targets people with harassment, threats, defamation or hate, or glorifies violence, terrorism or self-harm;
- violates someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- aims to mislead voters, pose as officials, defraud people or break the law in any other way.
You also may not try to bypass moderation, probe or overload our systems, create accounts automatically, resell raw API access as a stand-alone video API without our written permission, or harvest outputs to train a rival model.
9. Content moderation
Prompts are screened automatically, and a flagged prompt is refused with HTTP 422 before any credits are held. Model providers run their own filters too. Passing automated checks does not make content lawful; you remain responsible for what you submit and publish.
10. Ownership and license
You keep your rights in your prompts and images. The videos you generate belong to you as far as we are concerned, and commercial use is allowed, subject to the law and the usage policies of the underlying models. Outputs are not exclusive and may not be protected by copyright everywhere. You allow us to store, handle and deliver your inputs and outputs solely to operate the Service; we do not train models on them or publish them.
11. Stored media and links
Rendered videos are kept until you call DELETE /v1/videos/:id or close your account, and uploaded images are deleted after 30 days. A video_url works without authentication, so anyone with the link can download the file; share links with care. SiVideoAPI is not a backup service, so keep your own copies of videos you need.
12. Third-party models
The catalog currently spans Google Veo, Kuaishou Kling, ByteDance Seedance, Alibaba Wan, MiniMax and xAI Grok Imagine, all called through fal.ai. Those names belong to their owners and appear here only to say which model renders a clip; none of those companies sponsors SiVideoAPI. The lineup will change as models launch and retire.
13. Changes to the API
The API is versioned under /v1. Within a version we may add endpoints, fields and models without notice, so clients should ignore unknown fields. Before a breaking change we will give notice by email or in the documentation where practical, with a reasonable transition period when we can; fixes required for security or legal reasons may apply immediately.
14. No service level agreement
We supply the Service “as is” and “as available”, disclaiming implied warranties to the extent the law permits. We do not promise any uptime or render time, and no service level agreement applies unless we sign one with you in writing. Providers can be slow or offline, and results can differ from the prompt, so review outputs before relying on them.
15. Limitation of liability
Where the law permits, SiVideoAPI owes nothing for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue, profits, data or goodwill, or for punitive damages. For any claim, our combined liability is capped at the amount you paid us during the year before the claim arose. Any liability that cannot lawfully be limited stays unaffected by these terms of service.
16. Indemnity
You will defend us against, and pay reasonable costs arising from, third-party claims, including claims by your end users, that stem from your content, your application or any breach of these terms of service by you, as far as applicable law permits.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend keys or accounts for abuse, leaked keys, open chargebacks, risk to the Service or legal reasons; credits in an account closed for a breach of these terms of service may be forfeited. You are free to leave whenever you like and can request account deletion by email. If we close the Service for a reason other than your breach, you will get advance notice and a refund of paid credits you have not used.
18. Copyright complaints
If you believe material processed through the Service infringes your rights, send us a notice identifying the work, the material and its location, how to reach you, and a statement made in good faith. Each notice is reviewed, and repeat infringers lose their accounts.
19. Updates to these terms of service
These terms of service will change as the API grows. For a material change we will notify account holders by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect, and continued use after that date means you accept the new terms of service.
20. General
Should a court find a provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These terms of service, read with our Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, are the complete agreement between us about the Service. Not acting on a breach straight away is not a waiver, and you need our written consent to hand your account, keys or credits to someone else. Questions: support@sivideoapi.com.
